Club Terms
1. General
VF Fencing Club reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
Anyone attending any VF Fencing Club session or event may without reason be banned, requiring them to leave the session or event immediately, with immediate effect and without refund.
2. Payment and Refund:
All VF Fencing Club services must be pre-paid.
Children club:
You can cancel your booking within 48 hours as long as the course hasn’t started yet. Past the first 48 hours after booking, no full refund will be issued.
Refunds will be discussed on a case by case basis.
After-school clubs:
After-school clubs must be booked by the term. We accept cancellation for the whole term within 48 hours after booking.
No refund will be given if your child does not attend the after-school club. Tickets are non transferable.
1:1 and online lessons:
No refund will be given but we can transfer tickets once to another date if you contact us at least 24 hours before your lesson.
Holiday camps:
If booking is cancelled at least 28 days before the start of the camp, full refund will be given.
If booking is cancelled within 27 to 14 days before the start of the camp, we will refund 50% of the booking cost.
No refund will be given for cancellations made less than 14 days before the camp starts.
All tickets are non transferable.
Other refunds will only be granted for medical conditions supported by a doctor’s letter.
The decision of Management is final in any case.
3. Child Protection
VF Fencing Club acknowledges the duty of care to safeguard and promote the welfare of children and is committed to ensuring safeguarding practice reflects statutory responsibilities, government guidance and complies with best practice.
VF Fencing Club recognises that the welfare and interests of children are paramount in all circumstances. It aims to ensure that regardless of age, ability or disability, gender reassignment, race, religion or belief, sex or sexual orientation, socio-economic background, all children:

have a positive and enjoyable experience of sport at VF Fencing Club in a safe and child centred environment

are protected from abuse whilst participating in fencing or outside of the activity.
VF Fencing Club acknowledges that some children, including disabled children and young people or those from ethnic minority communities, can be particularly vulnerable to abuse and we accept the responsibility to take reasonable and appropriate steps to ensure their welfare.

This agreement is governed by the laws of England, regardless of conflicts of laws.
